The first trailer of 'The Theory of Everything' released on 6th August. This is the best thing,
that could happen on this special day. My blog became one year old.
Little was expected from Stephen Hawking, a bright but shiftless student of cosmology, given just two years to live following the diagnosis of a fatal illness at 21 years of age. He became galvanized, however, by the love of fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde, and he went on to be called the successor to Einstein, as well as a husband and father to their three children. Over the course of their marriage as Stephen’s body collapsed and his academic renown soared, fault lines were exposed that tested the lineaments of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both of their lives.

...Marsh says Hawking gave him a blessing as they were making the film, briefly visited the set for a couple of days, and then saw the nearly-finished product. His response was very positive, so much so that he offered to lend his voice, the real voice that he uses...

It premieres at Toronto International Film Festival Sept. 7 and hits theaters Nov. 7.

Basically, this film had been thought of a longer shot contender for Best Picture, Best Director (for James Marsh), Best Actor (for Eddie Redmayne), and Best Actress or Best Supporting Actress (for Felicity Jones), along with Anthony McCarten for his Screenplay, but now I’m sure people will be rushing to add Jones and especially Redmayne to their shortlists. That’s the magic of a strong Trailer, it can really do wonders for a contender.
